Kim Senser posted a 55-second video about MAC’s Film Noir Buff and called the mood anti-blush. The shade sold through at Sephora and Ulta. Trade write-ups say MAC later used her phrase in its own marketing. That is a complete 2026 beauty story: one creator, one name, one empty shelf.

Halloween is about to finish it. A cool matte face with almost no blush photographs as a costume even when the clothes are ordinary. You do not need the sold-out shade. You need the finish: less warmth, more contrast, a crop tight enough that skin texture is the picture.

Tutorials that open with a ten-product lineup are losing to a single before-and-after held for two seconds. Name the look in the first three words. “Anti-blush, but it’s a costume” will be understood by both audiences.
